EnquireEstablished from Nutrition Research Centre Ireland, a multi-disciplinary research group within South East Technological University. Our founders are specialises in researching Carotenoids and Omega Nutrition and their role for human well-being. The NRCI enables scientists to conduct research across a diverse range of human health-related disciplines including biotechnology, eye health, cognition, biochemistry, cancer and mental health.
Our Founders

Professor John Nolan
Chief Scientific Officer, Director
Professor Nolan leads our business strategy. With over 20 years of research experience in the health benefits of carotenoids and omega-3 fatty acid supplementation in humans, Pressor Nolan has cultivated an extensive network of researchers, ophthalmologists, carotenoid and omega-3 producers, and dietary supplement distributors. Professor Nolan founded the Nutrition Research Centre Ireland (NRCI) in 2012, as part of South East Technological University, and has published 118 peer-reviewed research papers.

Dr Alfonso Prado-Cabrero
Chief Technical Officer, Director
Dr Prado-Cabrero leads our method development strategy, and is in charge of quality compliance. Dr Prado-Cabrero is a biochemist who holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Seville (Spain), and has over 20 years of experience in carotenoid biosynthesis and analysis. In 2014, Dr Prado-Cabrero joined the NRCI, where he has published studies on the compliance of dietary supplements with their label claims. To date, Dr Prado-Cabrero has published over 25 peer-reviewed research papers.
